1)
IMDb
(Bryce Dylan Howard- imdb.com)
IMDb is the place to get the latest news about
celebrities, events, and cinema. When I really like the fashion of an actor, I
go to this site to look up what other films they’ve been in. This site contains all
the profiles of actors, directors, costume designers and more. Here, you can
see which costume designers have won the “best costume design” Oscars in the
past and can learn more about the films they worked on.
(Mission Statement of Man Repeller – manrepeller.com)
Man Repeller is a fashion blog that incorporates
other aspects of culture, along with fashion, into its articles. This is because the blog believes
that fashion is not simply what you wear; it’s a part of Culture. Film
therefore is a large aspect of this source. My favorite thing about the blog is that it is a great place to
find nostalgic looks of past stars in film as. For example, here is a recent article on the fashions of Goldie Hawn and how to get her style.
3) IndieWire
IndieWire is the number one place to stay up to date on all Oscar
news along with other film festivals and red carpet events. Here you can stay informed on all awards throughout the year, along
with news coverage on all things film. This is the place to go to find articles
and podcasts on production design and costuming in film.

4) Marie Claire
Marie Claire is a fashion magazine that not only
keeps you up to date on the latest fashions of film stars, but also uses film
as a place to explore important fashion moments in history. Here you can discover fashions from current and past stars and how to obtain their looks.
This recent article
is a great example of the nostalgic film fashion Marie Claire loves to report on.
If you don't find everything you need know about fashion in film, don't put the blame on me...
